Itchy scalp or scalp pruritis is when the scalp becomes itchy and flaky due to dryness or other condition affecting the scalp. Some of the common conditions that cause itchy scalp are seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, fungal infection, eczema, atopic dermatitis, and head lice.
