These foods include salted snack foods, candy, sweet desserts, fried fast food, and sugary carbonated beverages. Hamburgers, pizza, and tocos come under junk foods. Taking junk foods on a regular basis increases the risk of developing obesity, diabetes type II, heart diseases, liver diseases, and cancer in the body. It also causes memory loss, shrinkage in some parts of the brain, anxiety, and depression in children.
