Medical Conditions - Laceration

A laceration is a type of soft tissue injury caused by sharp objects. The tearing of the soft tissue in this condition causes irregular separation of the skin and underlying soft tissue structures. Laceration causes bleeding and pain. Suturing is done for wound closure and approximation of the tissue structures. Along with this, disinfection of the wound is done.
