Medical Conditions - Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

The surgical technique known as laparoscopic cholecystectomy is utilized to remove the gallbladder with minimal invasion. It is a commonly performed surgery for the treatment of gallstones and other gallbladder-related conditions. A small abdominal incision is created during the procedure, and a laparoscope with a thin tube that has a camera and light is introduced to direct the surgical tools. The surgeon then carefully removes the gallbladder through one of the small incisions. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is superior to conventional open surgery because it has fewer side effects, leaves fewer scars, and requires less time to heal.
