Medical Conditions - Laryngoscopy

Laryngoscopy is an endoscopy of the larynx. It is a procedure where the doctor looks at the larynx, vocal cords, and nearby structures present near the back of the throat. It helps the doctor find the cause behind voice problems, breathing problems, ear pain, airway blockages, and stenosis. There are three kinds of laryngoscopy - indirect laryngoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, and direct laryngoscopy.
