Laser vision correction is a procedure carried out to replace eyeglasses and contact lenses. It is performed to change the focusing power of the eye by reshaping the front portion of the eye. Various procedures such as LASIK (laser in situ keratomileuses), photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), and LASEK (laser epithelial keratomileusis) are some of the laser vision correction procedures performed based on the patient requirements.
