Latent tuberculosis infection is when the person has tuberculosis but does not show any symptoms. The only way to know that the person has tuberculosis is when the person undergoes a tuberculosis blood test. They cannot spread the tuberculosis bacteria to others. And if the latent tuberculosis bacteria become active and multiply in the body, then the person can get sick with tuberculosis disease.
