Medical Conditions - Lens Subluxation

Lens subluxation refers to the partial displacement of the eye lens, where the lens still remains within the lens space. Cataract surgery and trauma are the most common causes of lens subluxation. Marked astigmatism, decreased vision, and monocular diplopia are the common symptoms of this condition. Lens extraction may be necessary only if the condition causes significant vision loss.
