Leukocyte adhesion deficiency is a group of disorders that are caused by a deficiency of B and T cells, that helps in fighting infections. There are three main types of such group disorders. Type 1 is characterized by severe bacterial infection. Type 2 is characterized by milder infections with pneumonia or middle ear infections. Type 3 is characterized by the same kind of type 1 severe infection along with bleeding tendency.
