Light sensitivity is when the light level in the environment is so bright that it can cause some discomfort to the eyes. It is otherwise referred to as photophobia. Light sensitivity is a symptom of conditions like migraine, encephalitis, meningitis, corneal abrasion, scleritis, conjunctivitis, and dry eye syndrome.
