MDR-TB stands for multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis. It is a type of tuberculosis, which is caused by bacteria that are resistant to at least two drugs of the first-line anti-tuberculosis medications. The drugs that the bacteria are resistant to are Rifampin, Pyrazinamide, Ethambutol, or Isoniazid.
