The fractures of the hand are termed metacarpal fractures. A break in one of the five metacarpal bones in either hand occurs in the metacarpal fractures, also categorized as fractures of the head, neck, shaft, and bone. Common symptoms include pain, bruise, swelling, deformity, misalignment, etc. Treatment options include antibiotics, physiotherapy, body strapping, etc.
