The narrowing of the valve leads to restricted opening of the valve, thus blocking the blood flow into the left ventricles. Shortness of breath, fatigue, swelling of feet and legs, heart murmur, coughing up blood, etc., are the symptoms. Treatment is done by the replacement of the valve.
