A neuromuscular block is used to paralyze the muscles. The drugs work by blocking the neuromuscular transmission at the neuromuscular junction. They are used for paralysis of muscles during intubation, tracheostomy, etc. Acetylcholine, Aminosteroids, Tetrahydroisoquinoline derivative, etc., are the drugs used for neuromuscular blocks.
