Medical Conditions - Oral Ulcer

Oral ulcers, otherwise called mouth ulcers or canker sores, are small and painful lesions that can develop in the gums, roof of the mouth, or inside of the cheeks. They are not contagious and are commonly seen in women, teenagers, and individuals with a family history of ulcers. Oral injury, stress, hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiencies, braces, and food sensitivities can all trigger oral ulcers.
