Medical Conditions - Osteolysis

Osteolysis is a gradual progressive destruction of bones. Bones in the body undergo continuous modifications by destroying the existing portions and the formation of new layers. In osteolysis, the cells called osteoclasts which are responsible for bone destruction turn overactive. As a result, bone is stripped of its mineral content and goes weak and soft.
