Medical Conditions - Osteophytes

Bone spurs, also known as osteophytes, form bony lumps on the spine's bones or around the joints. These changes are natural and occur in most people as they get older. Most persons with osteophytes respond well to rest and non-surgical treatment, such as OTC or prescription anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) and prescription analgesics (pain killers).
