Packed cell volume is the total number of blood cells that form the red blood cells. It is noted in percentages as 35 % and measured as 100 milliliters of blood having 35 milliliters of cells. If it is too low, then the patient suffers from anemia, and if it is too much, then the patient has a thick blood count.
