Medical Conditions - Paraphilia

An emotional disorder that arouses frequent and intense sexual fantasies, urges, or behaviors over a period of six months, resulting in distress and affects the work and social behavior of the individual concerned, is called paraphilia. Anxiety and fear are associated with paraphilia. Psychotherapy like cognitive behavioral therapy and medications help in managing paraphilia.
