Parkinsonism is a condition characterized by a combination of movement irregularities like tremor, sluggish movement, muscle stiffness, and speech impairment. Drugs, head injury, neurodegenerative disorders, brain tumors, liver failure, chemical exposure, etc., can produce parkinsonism. In drug-induced parkinsonism, the drug should be withdrawn, whereas, in other types, Levodopa-Carbidopa combination drug therapy can be beneficial.
