Medical Conditions - Pigment Dispersion Syndrome

Pigment dispersion syndrome is caused due to the mechanical rubbing of the iris and zonules. This condition is more commonly seen in the European population. Males between the age group of 30 and 50 are most commonly affected. Patients with this condition are at increased risk for secondary glaucoma.
