A pituitary tumor is a tumor that develops in the pituitary gland. It occurs as an abnormal growth in the pituitary gland that can cause changes in the hormonal levels in the body. The symptoms include headaches, vision problems, tiredness, mood changes, changes in the menstrual cycle, erectile dysfunction, and infertility. It is treated by medication, surgery, and radiation.
