Pyrazinamide is an antitubercular agent used in treating tuberculosis, which is used alone or along with other tablets. For active tuberculosis in children and adults, Pyrazinamide is given initially together with Isoniazid and Rifampin for the first two months. Nausea, vomiting, muscle ache, joint pain, loss of appetite, fever, upper abdominal pain, bruising, joint stiffness, fatigue, jaundice, clay-colored stools, etc., are some of the side-effects of this drug.
