A Renal Pelvis is present in the central part of the kidney, which accumulates the urine and funnels it into the ureter. It lies in the posterior aspect of the renal hilum and is surrounded by fat and blood vessels. It is a triangular structure composed of 2 to 3 major calyces or 7 to 11 minor calyces.
