Medical Conditions - Reticulocyte Count

A reticulocyte count is a test done to know the level of reticulocytes in the blood. It helps to assess the ability of bone marrow to produce red blood cells. They are also used to differentiate different types of anemia. The normal reticulocyte count ranges from 0.5 to 1.5 percent. It also helps to monitor our body after getting treatment of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant.
