Sensory loss is otherwise called hypoesthesia. It occurs due to nerve damage caused by injury or irritation of nerves. The other causes are diabetes, stroke, spinal cord injury, tumors, and infections. There is a partial or complete loss of sensation in the body. Sometimes it occurs with pin and needle tingling. There is a complete loss of sensation of pain, temperature, and touch. Taking steroids for nerve injury, doing exercise, and dietary changes helps a lot.
