Medical Conditions - Spinocerebellar Ataxia

Spinocerebellar ataxia has a group of neurological diseases under that category. They are all genetically passed on from one generation to the next. There is a progressive degeneration of nerve cells. One may suffer poor coordination of movements. It affects walking, speech eye movements, and hand movements. Also, there will be other features like cognitive impairment and abnormal jerky movements of the body parts.
