Radial subluxation involves the partial dislocation of the head of the radial bone from the elbow joint. A spontaneous radial subluxation otherwise known as pulled elbow, babysitter's elbow, or nursemaids' elbow is a very common injury seen in young children. Here the annular ligament at the elbow joint suffers injury leading to dislocation of the radial head when the forearm is pulled forcefully.
