Medical Conditions - Subcision

Subcision, also called subcutaneous incisional surgery, is a minimally invasive surgical procedure done to treat scars and wrinkles. Here, a special needle is inserted through the skin. The needle breaks the fibrous tissues that are attached to the scar underneath. This results in improved wound healing and improvement in the scar's appearance.
