Sucralfate is a drug that is available in liquid or tablet form. It is used along with antibiotics to treat ulcers in the upper part of the small intestine (duodenal ulcer). This medicine is usually taken 2 to 4 times a day on an empty stomach to prevent the recurrence of stomach ulcers due to H.pylori infection.
