Symblepharon is a pathological eye condition in which an abnormal adhesion is seen between the bulbar and palpebral conjunctiva. This condition is rarely congenital, but in most cases, it is an acquired pathological condition caused due to injury. It is most commonly caused in case of chemical injury.
