A tanning bed is otherwise known as a sunbed. It is a machine used to produce artificial tan and imitates the sun's ultraviolet radiation. There are different kinds of tanning beds. A specific tanning bed gives 95 percent of UVA and 5 percent of UVB. A tanning bed can cause sunburn when a person stays too long in it.
