A tension-type headache, otherwise called tension headache, is a mild, moderate, or severe pain in the head, neck, and behind the eyes. It is caused by contraction of the muscle in the head and neck regions and can be triggered by eye strain, fatigue, smoking, alcohol, caffeine, poor posture, skipping meals, and bad posture.
