Medical Conditions - Tooth Eruption

The process through which a tooth moves up from inside the gums and jawbones, and appears inside the mouth is called tooth eruption. The first tooth erupts around 4 to 6 months, and the last tooth between 19 to 21 years of age. Generally, a total of 20 milk teeth and 32 permanent teeth erupt.
