Medical Conditions - Travel During Pregnancy

Generally, pregnant women prefer not to travel by air in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, as they might have nausea and vomiting, and other early pregnancy woes. During the initial 12 weeks of pregnancy, the risk of miscarriage is also higher in general. However, in a healthy pregnancy, commercial air travel is safe till 36 weeks of pregnancy. Air travel in the last few months of pregnancy may be uncomfortable and tiring. Pregnant women must consult their healthcare provider before air travel.
