Traveler's diarrhea is an intestinal disorder that causes abdominal cramps and loose stools. It may be due to drinking or eating contaminated food and water. Fortunately, traveler's diarrhea is not a serious condition, and in most people, it is just unpleasant. It occurs commonly due to bacteria such as enteroaggregative E. coli, enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter, and Shigella.
