Medical Conditions - Ureteral Stent

Ureteral stents are thin, flexible tubes inserted into the ureter to help drain urine from the kidney. They are used to treat ureteral obstructions from kidney stones, ureteral stones, narrowed ureters, blood clots, or tumors. Ureteral stents are generally considered safe. They mostly do not cause any long-term problems.
