Verruca plana, otherwise called flat warts, are flat-surfaced and well-demarcated growths, measuring around 2 to 5 mm in diameter. They can be the color of your skin or reddish-brown in color. They can be commonly seen in the hands, legs, and face. These skin lesions are believed to be caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection.
