Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have been treated for latent tuberculosis over a six-month course, and I am perfectly healthy. However, I have chronic allergic rhinitis, which has severe symptoms, and nasal sprays like Dymista are the only things that give relief. I came to know that such immunosuppressant medications may cause activation of tuberculosis. Please advise.
Thanks.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
There is no need to worry about this nasal spray. It is safe for a longer duration. It will not cause immunosuppression.
I hope this information will help you.
Thanks.
