Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 29-year-old female and have been suffering from chronic anxiety for the past six weeks. Also, suffering from obesity, chest pain, back pain, arm pain, and jaw pain. All my reports are normal. I have high cholesterol and HDL. What could be the reason for my chronic anxiety? Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

I have gone through your history and understand your concern. It is more likely that your symptoms are anxiety-related. But I worry you are at high risk for a major cardiovascular event if you do not begin to lose weight as fast as possible. I advise you to seek the help of a dietician if you are finding it difficult to lose weight by yourself. If you are losing significant weight as time goes on, then you can trust it. The rest is fine, and you will not need any additional tests for now.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.
