Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 47-year-old female. I had antibiotics forbacterial vaginosis. I got yeast vaginally, then did a candida cleanse. I felt like I still had yeast. Took Caprylic acid. Then, all of a sudden, my gut bubbles hugely and creates gas in my stomach, and I fart all the time. I took two doses of Diflucan, and Metrogel and had bacterial vaginosis again. Did oral bentonite clay, oxypowder, and colonics also cause reflux? Is this yeast? I just restarted 30 million probiotics called Fortify and Femodoliphlis. Why am I getting huge gas bubbles? I can feel them in my stomach, and everything I eat is gas.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome toicliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

I can very well understand the amount of frustration you must be feeling, but if you do not have control over your anxiety, it is going to make your symptoms worse. Surgery is not usually performed as the initial treatment because, though not treatable yet, most of the symptoms can be controlled very well by medical therapy. If you are not comfortable with medications, you have the option of surgery. An endoscopy would be done initially, and the area for surgery would be decided as per the results. During fundoplication surgery, the upper curve of the stomach (the fundus) is wrapped around the esophagus and sewn into place so that the lower portion of the esophagus passes through a small tunnel of stomach muscle. This procedure is often done using a laparoscopic surgical technique. Long-term failure rates after fundoplication are 30 % after five years and 63 % after ten years.

I hope I have answered your question.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
