Does gum affect birth control pill absorption?

Hello doctor,

I have a question about birth control. I was taking my birth control pill, and it got stuck to the gum I was chewing. I tried my best to remove it, but I ended up swallowing it with some gum still attached. Should I take another pill just to be safe?
