What could be the cause of spotting on birth control?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been on a birth control method for the past few months due to which I did not get my period. I have been practicing sex frequently for the past few days. Now, I got a little bit of blood while urinating. I am worried if it could be implantation blood or just spotting. Is it normal?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query.

There is nothing to worry about.

This could be because of hormonal changes due to stress and strain, anxiety, and work pressure. So, it is not to be alarmed about. Please be a little gentle while having sex or masturbating.

Also, get yourself checked with a specialist doctor internally and get a pelvic scan done to rule out the exact cause.

Do get back to me with reports so that I can guide you further.

Hope it helps.

Thanks and regards.
