Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I am very sorry about your medical condition, and I am glad that you are paying attention to changes in your body system. But do not worry, I am here to take care of you. Regarding your symptoms, I understand how you feel about your eye condition, but you are not alone in this. Since you have had this eye color stain based on the pic sent for many years, it is unlikely to be an active “popped vessel.”

Instead, a few possibilities are more likely:

  1. Residual scar or staining: Sometimes, after repeated hemorrhages, the tissue can stay slightly red or discolored.

  2. Conjunctival varix or telangiectasia: Enlarged surface vessels that do not go away on their own.

  3. Pinguecula or conjunctival lesion: Benign growths that can look like a persistent red or yellowish spot.

  4. Underlying cause: Chronic eye rubbing, dry eyes, fragile vessels from hypertension, diabetes, or blood-thinning medications.

So I will advise you to see an ophthalmologist for possible removal after excluding other possible causes to arrive at a particular diagnosis. I hope this helps.

I hope this helps.

Please follow up if you have any further concerns.

Thank you.
