Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My father had surgery for a Schwannoma two years ago and now requires varicose vein surgery. A CT (computerized tomography) scan was performed six months ago, which showed no growth of the lesion. Another CT scan has been done recently for a re-evaluation, but we are having difficulty interpreting the scan report. Please help.
Thank you.

Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for your reply.
Is it possible to completely remove this tumor? If so, are there any risks or side effects?
Thank you.

The tumor can be completely removed by an experienced surgeon. The risks involved are facial weakness (eight to ten percent), coma (five to ten percent), and limb paralysis (eight to ten percent).
