Ddh

DDH, or developmental dysplasia of the hip, is also known as congenital dislocation of the hip. It is a condition involving abnormal hip joint development in babies and small children. Ideally, the ball-like rounded end of the thighbone or femur is supposed to neatly fit into a socket called the acetabulum in the hip bone. For those suffering from developmental dysplasia of the hip, this socket is too shallow to hold the femur head in place and often gets dislocated.
