What happens after taking Decapeptyl injections?

We have two daughters, born with a gap of four years and after four years again we tried to have a baby, unfortunately, my wife could not conceive, she was administered Decapeptyl injections for rupture of eggs as it was found by the doctor that even after 12 days post periods, her eggs were not rupturing, once she missed her periods but pregnancy test failed so she was given a medicine for five days and then her periods followed, next month again she took the said injection, but just after 10 days she had her periods, what could have gone wrong with my wife that she is unable to conceive, TSH and all test are normal, please guide me.
