Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am suffering from delayed periods for almost eight months. My doctor prescribed me Primolut -N thrice a day.
Is it the proper dosage? And how many days it will take to regulate period cycle? kindly answer me.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
Have you not got your periods for eight months or are you getting frequent delayed periods for eight months? I would suggest before taking any hormonal pills, you should find the cause behind this. Because this will not be a cure this will only be a temporary solution. So I would suggest you do a USG (ultrasound) pelvis scan, thyroid profile, and CBC (complete blood count) to rule out any pathology. And accordingly, we can start proper treatment.
I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask further queries.
Thank you.
