Is it possible to rectify a nine-unit tilted teeth bridge?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I just had nine tooth bridges put in about a week ago, which are canted. The laboratory made it seem as if the jaw was straight. The dentist did his best to make it right, but it did not look good.

How bad is it to get taken off? It was made with Zirconia and Porcelain. I am so disappointed.

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Your query shows you have a nine-unit dental bridge in the front of your mouth. Your artificial teeth are designed based on factors such as facial symmetry, the shape and size of nearby teeth, the tooth present before the prosthesis, etc. You can also talk with the dentist to make changes during the temporary bridge.

Some corrections are also made after the final bridge, such as height adjustments and changes to the tooth edge shape, but they have limitations. Minor corrections can be made. But if you have major corrections, it is better to place a new one. Zirconia is a better option for anterior teeth. Do not bite anything with artificial teeth.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
