What is the treatment for itchy pimples at the back?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have this itchy thing on my back. It is like a pimple, and it does not go away. I have attached the picture. I also have a picture of a white spot on my neck. It does not itch or hurt, but it is there. Even when I sun tan, all my skin gets dark, but this spot remains white. Please advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The itchy lesion looks like dermatitis.

Just apply a good moisturizer, like white soft paraffin cream. You can also apply a cream containing fusidicacid and hydrocortisone for one week.

Regarding the white patch, kindly send a clear photo to see if it is a fungal infection or not.

I hope this is helpful.

Thank you.
